July 2015: I started my own business to offer children innovative educational workshops. These included reading and writing workshops inspired by Montessori pedagogy, emotional education workshops, English language introduction, manual activities, birthday parties, cooking workshops, balloon sculpting, songs and choreographies, storytelling sessions, baby gym, and baby yoga. I brought various games, books, and educational activities from different countries, along with my puppet “Souricette” for small group rituals. The activities were structured and followed routines like in a daycare to provide reassurance and help children orient themselves in time.

Since July 2011: After earning my diploma in Early Childhood Education, I have been working with a class of 24 children at the prestigious Lennen School, an American international school in Paris. I introduced Montessori-style activities in small groups to gently immerse the children into collective life, with activities tailored to their needs in a space designed for them. I also worked at a renowned outdoor daycare in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The educational project was inspired by Nordic countries’ schools, where we accompanied children from all over the world in all weather, throughout the seasons. We offered a wide range of fun and educational activities (motor skills, storytelling, puppets, face painting, languagedevelopment, dance and choreographies, collecting autumn leaves, gardening, end-of-year performances, and season-related crafts) to foster the children’s development, while also supporting their parents.

I also worked in a medical-educational institute and trained in the disability sector. I assisted children aged 2 to 12 with various intellectual and/or motor disabilities. In parallel, I voluntarily followed the development of a young autistic boy using the 3i method, for which I was trained. In a multidisciplinary team, we supported the children’s daily schedule based on their personalized project, including hydrotherapy, music awakening, motor skills workshops, sensory activities, class, group time, emotion workshops, PECS, Makaton, and TEACCH.

2004 to 2011: During my nursing and early childhood education studies, I did extensive babysitting to finance my education. I cared for infants, including twins, through the association “Jumeaux et Plus.” I managed infant care, including bathing, bottle-feeding, and burping, while parents rested at night.

I also cared for a baby from 1 to 5 months who had health issues. He was the youngest of six siblings, and I supported the mother by administering medication, providing care, and spoon-feeding him. This required a great deal of patience, experience, and maturity. Additionally, during my study year for the Early Childhood Education entrance exam, I worked in the baby section of the Ministry of Health’s daycare. I also spent three months as an au pair in Spain, where I cared for two girls aged 5 and 6. My role was to pick them up from school, teach them French, and care for them until their mother returned from work. Occasionally, I cared for them over the weekend, organizing cultural and outdoor activities linked to nature and creativity.
