In December 2022 I had the chance to volunteer at the Korean orphanage 서울틐별시 꿈나무을 초록꿈터 where I took care of babies from 1 to 3 months old as well as 3-year-olds. Thus, I am able to adapt to any family situation. Moreover, between 2020 and 2021 I was also able to look after a little boy with Down’s syndrome from the age of one to two. Thanks to this experience, I’ve grown up and opened my mind to different issues. It has taught me never to judge and to take a special look at each child’s particular needs, and to develop my benevolence and ability to create a secure and soothing environment, which is essential.

Since September 2021 I’ve been picking kids up from school (Neuilly sur Seine and Levallois-Perret) and taking care of homework for children aged between 7 and 9. I make sure that the lessons are understood and that the resulting grades are the best possible. This has enabled me to develop my ability to communicate with children as well as my pedagogical skills. I also gave French and English tutoring to students in difficulty at my school in South Korea (2022-2023). A very rich experience for both the children and myself.

Since September 2020 I’ve been babysitting regularly for several families with siblings ranging from one to four children and ages from 3 months to 12 years old. As an experienced babysitter, I have acquired a solid experience in managing young children’s evening routine. I bathe them, prepare and feed them dinner, brush their teeth and read them bedtime stories. These responsibilities have enabled me to develop organisational skills, an ability to follow structured routines, and attention to detail. I’ve been able to develop a whole babysitting network in Levallois-Perret and the 17th arrondissement thanks to word-of-mouth from parents who recognize my seriousness and gift with the children they entrust to my care.

Since 2019, I have been looking after groups of over 10 children at weddings and family reunions, both my own and those of other families. So I know how to be patient and deal with the crises that can arise with such large groups of children. This has given me the opportunity to broaden my expertise and adaptability in a variety of situations for the well-being and development of the little ones. I’ve also had the opportunity to host birthday parties for 5-year-olds (June 2024). Imaginative and mischievous, I propose fun and original
games (singing, theatre and puppet workshop, etc.).

Having grown up in a family with more than 19 cousins, and being the second of four siblings, the youngest of whom is only 7, I can say that I’ve been surrounded by children all my life, and have taken care of them from an early age. I started changing my brother’s diapers when I was just 12, and I’ve helping a lot my aunts and uncles looking after my little cousins. I’m a born babysitter!
