Since January 2023: I occasionally offer my services to a family with a now 2-year-old baby. In the evening, I feed the baby, give him a bath, and put him to bed. In the afternoon, I play with the baby, engage in educational and fun activities, and put him down for a nap after changing him if needed.
Since June 2023: I have been taking care of two children, aged 5 and 9, in an Anglo-Saxon family, mostly in the evening. I prepare their dinner while they play or while we chat together. Then, I organize activities until bedtime. After their bath, the older child goes to bed on his own while I read stories to the younger one. My good level of English facilitates smooth communication.
From September 2022 to July 2023: I looked after a 4-year-old girl, mostly in the evening. She was quite independent, handling her bath alone, and I would then help her settle into bed, ensuring she fell asleep.
From April to June 2022: My task was to pick up an 8-year-old child from school and bring his home until the parents returned. The older brother, aged 10, would come home by himself. I provided them with a snack and helped with their homework. Finally, I organized activities to keep them occupied, such as board games or going to the park when the weather was good.
From September 2018 to June 2019: Here again, I was responsible for picking up an 8-year- old girl from school and taking her home. I would prepare her dinner and ensure she did her homework properly. Then, she would take a shower, and we would wait for her mother’s return by talking and playing together.
I am also the eldest sister of three younger siblings, which has made me responsible from a very young age. Additionally, I plan to specialize in pediatric dentistry and have attended numerous appointments r children’s cavities during my internship from January to April 2024, where I learned a lot about pain management and communication with children.
