Since September 2020 : I have been working with Baby Prestige for 3 years now. Mainly for occasional child cares. I have been working with foreign families passing through France for professional or personal stays. I look after the children, and I quickly form bounds with them. I take care of their meals, indoor or outdoor activities if authorized by the family. I also take care of bathing, and I keep in touch with the family during the care period if necessary.
I also had the opportunity to work in a childcare with the agency, to help out when permanent staff is absent. This has enabled me to learn how to manage a group of several children, give them snacks, change their diapers and rock them to sleep.
September 2017 – June 2018: I took care of 3 children, respectively 3, 6 and 7 years old, for a Franco-Lebanese family. I used to pick them up from school and then go play in the park before we got home. We took the snack on this occasion, usually consisting of fruit and homemade cakes. Homework was done at home with my help and advice; sometimes we would go to the pool for their weekly lesson. It was then the opportunity to have a good time on the road and to tell each other always funny stories.
January – July 2018: I took care of 3 siblings, Georgia 6 years old, Jason 7 years old and James 9 years old, for a Franco-British family. It was often the weekend that I went to their place. It was then an opportunity to check the homework for the week. Then I would cook lunch for them and watch them for the rest of the day. On sunny days, we would go for a bike ride. On rainy days we would stay at home playing, drawing and reading. Since the children were also British, we had fun talking in English, it was also a fun way to practice the language. I also gave them the shower, directed them while watching them. When we had time, we liked to make delicious snacks and dinner dishes.
November 2019 – March 2020: I was the nanny of 6-year-old Ines, and 8-year-old David, for a Franco-Spanish family. I used to take care of them on Friday nights, it was a time for parents to go out and have a good time. I prepared dinner for them, using ingredients recommended by parents. We liked to talk about our week and share good times at the table. Then we read stories of all kinds, fairy-tale, historical or scientific, adapted for children. I then prepared them for bed at the end of the evening.
About me: I grew up in a family of 3 children. I have a twin sister and a younger brother. I have been enjoying travelling from a young age, which is why I spend a lot of time learning new languages and reading. My interest in culture is also expressed through cinema and more particularly photography. I practice it as an childminder in my free time. Besides that, cooking and music are hobbies that I enjoy doing.
