Since August 2023: I have worked as an entertainer at a restaurant on Sunday afternoons during brunch, where I take care of entertainment, birthdays, or children’s drawing and makeup workshops.
In 2023: I also worked as a Game Master in a well-known escape game, where I followed the adventures of groups of children, aged 10 to 15.
Since obtaining my BAFA: I’ve worked as an animator more than six times at an educational farm in Normandy, for several weeks at a center in Paris that hosts young people from around the world, aged 12 to 17, during the summer to visit Paris. I’ve also been part of a summer camp in Brittany with the theme of creating board games. Additionally, I attended a summer camp in London with children aged 12 to 15.
Since 2022: I’ve also been looking after the children of two families. In the first family, there are two little girls, who were 1 and 3 years old at the time and are now 2 and 4 years old. In the second family, I care for a 1-year-old girl every week, who is turning 2 this year.
In 2021: I began looking after a 2-year-old girl, and I continue to care for her to this day. I’ve taken care of her during the day, evenings, nights, and half-days, taken her to the theatre, and gone for walks in the park, etc.
In the same year, I also looked after a 6-year-old boy once a week, picking him up from school, helping with his homework, and taking him to his swimming class. Then, I would take him back home, prepare dinner, and follow the bedtime routine with meals, games, stories, and bedtime. I also looked after 6-year-old twins three times a week, from school pick-up to bedtime, from 4:30 PM to bedtime.
In 2020: I looked after a little girl, whom I would pick up from her home at 7 AM, followed by the morning routine, breakfast, getting ready, and taking her to school. I also cared for an 11-year-old child every day of the week from 5 PM to 7 PM, helping with homework, playing games, and giving a shower before the father returned.
Since 2019: I have joined a babysitting agency and have worked with around twenty families. I looked after three children during the school year, three boys aged 1, 5, and 9. This involved picking up the youngest from daycare and then picking up the two older ones from their neighbouring schools. Then, I would take them to the park, bring them back home, bathe the baby, and prepare dinner for the three brothers, along with their bedtime routine.
In the same year, I also looked after two sisters, aged 6 and 8. I would pick them up from school, have a snack, help with their homework, and play with them until their parents returned.
Since 2018: I have been babysitting for neighbors and friends. When I was younger, I used to take care of my little sister, and I’ve always enjoyed looking after children. For example, I took care of the three boys next door, aged 6, 8, and 9, several evenings a week, from dinner until bedtime.
