From 09/21 to 07/24 : cared for a boy who is now 11 years old, starting when he was 7, in a Franco-German family. I managed two school pick-ups per week and numerous babysitting sessions during weekdays and weekends. My responsibilities included preparing snacks, helping with homework, teaching German, organizing fun and creative activities, cooking, and putting the child to bed. Due to his difficulty falling asleep, I regularly conducted mini-meditation sessions with him before bedtime.

From 05/22 to 01/24 : was responsible for looking after a curious boy, now 5 years old, who was 3 when I started working with him in a Japanese-American family. I did weekly school pick-ups, weekend babysitting, and took care of their pets during school holidays. My tasks included preparing snacks, introducing the German language, correcting oral mistakes in French, and organizing fun and creative activities. I also arranged museum visits, notably to the Louvre, and trips to the Jardin des Plantes. Unfortunately, the position ended due to the family’s relocation to the Netherlands, though I recently had the chance to visit them.

From 05/23 to 07/23 : I cared for a 3-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, both very smiley, in a French family. I worked every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for two months. My responsibilities included preparing meals, organizing games, reading, visits to the library, fun and creative activities, trips to the park, and putting them to bed. I remain in contact with this family and continue to occasionally babysit for them.

From 08/19 to 06/20 : After graduating from high school in Germany in July 2019, I worked for a year as an au pair in a warm French family with five children, aged 3 to 12 when I started. My daily routine included school pick-ups, walks to the park, helping with homework, preparing dinner, and putting the children to bed. I also spent the lockdown period with this family, which turned out to be very enjoyable and fun. Since the parents were working outside the home, I cared for the children almost the entire day. This period allowed me to really put my creativity to the test: drawing and teaching the younger ones numbers and letters, making bookmarks with the older ones, baking cakes every week, playing hide-and-seek in the garden, face-painting, inventing games, and building forts.

With seven years of professional experience, including one year as an au pair in a large family, I have developed expertise in childcare. Cheerful, patient, and trilingual, I am currently seeking a childcare position in Paris, available once a week or one weekend per month. My creativity, particularly in crafts and cooking, along with a heightened sensitivity to children’s needs—enhanced by an internship in child psychiatry—are my key strengths.
