Summer 2023 : I looked after the little sisters (aged 6 and 11) of my boyfriend, who was working, for 1 week, while the parents were away. With my licence, we went to the Zoo, the cinema, the swimming pool and the lake. As tutoring young children is one of my areas of expertise, we worked on their holiday notebooks.
Summer 2021: During the summer of 2021, I babysat at the Méridien in Monaco for 5 days for 2 children aged 1 and a half and 4. The parents needed me as they were coming down from Paris to attend a wedding in the South of France. I spent the 5 days looking after the children at all the organised activities during the day, and in the evening I looked after them at the hotel. The parents weren’t usually there in the evening, so they gave me the opportunity to eat in a restaurant with them, play board games (drawing,
etc.) and go for walks in the town. I was in charge of looking after them throughout the babysitting period, but particularly around the pool, on the boat and on the beach.
September 2020: I had the opportunity to babysit 2 young girls, 5 months and 1 year old. As the experience went very well, the parents wanted to repeat these baby-sittings on several evenings in a row. Before putting them to bed, I fed them (bottles), bathed them and read them a story.
Since 2019: I’m lucky enough to be godmother to my doctor sister’s first daughter. So I’ve done a lot of childcare since she was born. I’ve been able to do lots of different activities, from bottle feeding, nappy changing and bathing, to, going to the park, playing board games and going to the beach. From 2021 onwards, the family has grown, giving life to a little boy who is now 3 years old. I continue to babysit them from time to time at my sister’s request.
I started babysitting at the age of 15 (since 2015) with the children of my parents’ friends (private individuals), then as time went by, I developed a taste for it, and wanted to develop this experience.
