Since November 2022: I started regular babysitting. I take care of an 8-year-old girl, whom I see two to three times a week. My role is to pick her up from school, prepare her snack, and help her with her homework. When the weather is nice, I take her to the park to play. After homework, we play board games or do creative activities while waiting for her parents to return.
Years 2021/2023: I did occasional babysitting for three children aged 10, 8, and 4. Most of the time, I arrived after dinner. I would read stories to the youngest or suggest calm games before putting them to bed.
During this same period, I also took care of two little girls, aged 6 and 8, on some evenings. As with the previous family, I played with them, read stories, and sometimes helped with their meal depending on when I arrived.
Years 2021/2023: I also looked after three children aged 6, 4, and 1 and a half. Depending on my arrival time, I prepared their meal and fed them. Then, I took care of the youngest, gave him a bottle, ensured his hygiene, and put him to bed. With the other children, I played and read stories before tucking them in.
Summer 2019: My first babysitting experience involved taking care of two young children (friends of my parents) and putting them to bed.
As the eldest in my family, and also of three cousins, I have always been surrounded by young children, whom I took care of in the evenings when my parents worked late or during holidays.
