2018: During my law studies in Madrid, I took care of a 6-month-old baby during the day and in the evening. To encourage his awakening, I sang nursery rhymes accompanied by gestures. I also created a sensory bottle by filling a small transparent bottle with colored rice, which he loved. I regularly set him up on a play mat with toys of various textures, shapes, and colors and played with him to stimulate his senses and motor skills. In addition to these activities, I handled his daily needs: giving him baths, feeding him bottles, changing his diapers, and putting him to bed when his parents went out in the evening.
I also gave French lessons to a 9-year-old girl.
Between 2019 and 2021: In Paris, I looked after several children aged 4 to 8, picking them up from school and caring for them both during the day and in the evening. I accompanied them to the park for moments of relaxation, organized outdoor games, offered cooking workshops, and arranged dance and arts-and-crafts activities to stimulate their creativity.
2022: I worked for eight months for an Irish family in Dublin, looking after two children aged 3 and 4 on a daily basis. Every day, I picked them up from school and prepared their lunch. Once a week, I accompanied them to their swimming lessons. The rest of the time, we enjoyed outings to the park, and on rainy days, we went to the media library or stayed home. At home, I organized various activities: baking, crafts using recycled materials, board games, dance contests, painting, beading, collage, origami, and decorating costume masks. On several occasions, I took care of them for entire weekends when their parents were away. I also helped organize their birthday parties by preparing activities, decorations, and the cake.
Between 2023 and today: I looked after an 8-month-old baby boy in the evening, managing his bottles, diaper changes, and bedtime routine. I also cared for a 5-month-old baby girl for a few hours during the day. Later, I regularly looked after two sisters aged 7 months and 4 years. For two months, I handled their daily school and daycare pick-ups, prepared snacks for the older child, took them to the park, and managed their bath time. I also cared for an 8-year-old girl on Wednesday afternoons, preparing her lunch, helping her with homework, playing with her, accompanying her to her dance class, and bringing her back home.
In summary, I am used to taking care of very young children. As an aunt to four nieces and nephews, whom I have regularly cared for since their birth, I have developed a strong bond with them and a solid experience in looking after little ones. For the past two years, I have organized treasure hunts for their respective birthdays. I also frequently take them to museums when workshops are offered, allowing them to discover new activities in a fun and educational way.
