From November 2022 to February 2024: Nursery Assistant at the City of Nice (06), where I joined a nursery with 50 children in the baby/toddler section, specifically caring for infants aged between 6 and 10 months. I accompany the babies in their care and development throughout the day at the nursery. This includes welcoming the child and their family in the morning, providing support and guidance to parents. I organize the children’s daily routines by setting up play areas with age-appropriate materials. I ensure the fulfillment of their physiological needs, including meals, diaper changes, hygiene, as well as their rest and nap times.
I also served as the primary caregiver for a 10-month-old girl with a cow’s milk allergy, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions by carefully monitoring her meals and verifying food sources. I was the only qualified professional responsible for meal assistance and preparing her formula with her own milk.
August 2023: Private Babysitter in Saint Tropez-Ramatuelle (83) for two families vacationing in the region, each for 12 days. I cared for two girls aged 2 and 7 respectively. I built a strong bond with them by being present and engaging in activities they enjoyed. We had ample time together to enjoy days filled with swimming and other creative activities and board games. This experience heightened my awareness of responsibilities regarding pool and sea safety and environmental hazard prevention. I was fortunate to establish excellent trust-based relationships with the parents without encroaching on their family time.
From October 2021 to 2022: Nursery Assistant at La Maison Bleue in Vars (83) on a permanent contract. I held the same position but worked with older children aged between 2 and 3. I developed new skills in organizing outdoor activities, setting up fun motor skills courses, and conducting workshops such as painting with children for creating decorations during themed events and holidays (Christmas, Carnival, birthdays, end-of-year celebrations, etc.). Activities like music appreciation and role-playing with costumes were among my favorites to implement.
Summer 2022: Babysitter for Lily of the Valley (83) for hotel guests. I cared for several families within the hotel during evenings and weekends. My duties primarily included bedtime routines, but I was also available in the late afternoon to assist with bathing and ordering evening meals to the room.
From September 2020 to October 2021: Nursery Assistant in Bordeaux (33) at a small-scale childcare facility with 32 children for 10 months. This was my first experience in a collective setting. I gained valuable insights into child development and attachment, acquiring all necessary skills for the role.
From December 2019 to February 2020: Babysitter for a babysitting agency on Saint-Barthélemy in the Caribbean, working in hotels and villas on the island. I cared for children during the day and evenings.
During the Christmas school holidays, I cared for a 7-year-old boy with a disability who brought me much joy. He was so delighted to have me there that he would constantly ask for me in my absence. There is no greater gift than receiving such affectionate gestures from such a touching child. I believe he and I experienced those days so intensely that it became one of my most cherished memories.
From October 2012 to September 2013: Au Pair in the United States. This enriching life experience with American families helped me grow and become independent quickly. I cared for two children aged 4 and 7, responsible for their care from breakfast to dinner during the week, including accompanying them to school. I prepared their lunchboxes daily with balanced sandwiches, fruits, crackers, and varied healthy snacks.
My hobbies are yoga and pilates, two gentle exercises I particularly enjoy for their focus on breathing, relaxation, and self-centering. This personal time is crucial for me to stay energized and fully engaged with the children.
